This week the LA School Report posted an article about Latino students' fight for equal education attainment. According to the article, the Latino drop out rate nationally is 10% while the national drop out rate is 6%. In LAUSD, 14% of Latino students dropped out of high school last year. The article also underlines that more Latino students are graduating from college now, but how can Project Literacy better encourage our learners, espcially our Latino learners, to pursue higher education?
